Buttery, nutty, and perfectly sweet! These Pecan Crunch Squares combine a soft, golden crust with a rich pecan topping for a dessert that’s irresistible in every bite. Perfect for holidays, bake sales, or an anytime treat you’ll want to make again and again!
Ingredients:
- 1 box yellow cake mix (dry)
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 large eggs
- ½ cup light corn syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13″ baking dish.
- In a bowl, mix dry cake mix, melted butter, and 1 egg until crumbly. Press into the bottom of the prepared dish.
- Sprinkle pecans evenly over the crust.
- In another bowl, whisk brown sugar, remaining 2 eggs, corn syrup, and vanilla until well combined.
- Pour the mixture evenly over pecans and crust.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the top is golden and set.
- Cool completely before cutting into squares.
